I was complaining HERE that my family room is difficult to design for. In an effort to get more of you guys to comment with suggestions I'm posting embarrassing before photos.
This is the view of the room from the hallway leading from the front door. Sorry, but I warned you that it was BAD. I didn't even try to tidy up.
This is the view from the kitchen, floor plan is here.
We get a lot of sun here in the afternoon, before it hides behind a huge fur tree.
And for some pretty stuff:
I love these chairs and that plant. So... any ideas? Room is 12 by 17 feet and the couch I have to go in here is 77 inches long (in cream). And I want to have a whole wall of bookshelves on the North wall (see floor plan).
You have the couch already? Have you dragged it in there and test drove it? (If you try it...please snap some more photos!!!)
