I think my blog has gotten the most hits on the post I did about THIS girls' room. Love it love it love it. Still, more than a year later. It resonates with my senses and makes me happy. I've made you all sick of Marimekko wallpaper by now, but hey, I LOVE IT still.
This morning I read THIS post over at Little Green Notebook about kids' rooms, and went through THIS slideshow on girl's rooms, written by the talented Jenny of Little Green Notebook. They are all lovely, but the image above remains my all time favourite.
You all heard how I almost bought a Jenny Lind bed, right?? Well... here I am again, I found another one!! This time I"m writing minutes before heading out to pick it up. Hopefully no one beats me to it!!!
It will need to be spraypainted. NOT my favourite thing to do, but I'll manage. I'll be sticking to my inspiration image and going with black paint for the bed.
Now just to find the time...
Great find. Spray paint with thin coats and many of them, rather than trying to rush it - you'll get a nice finish.
