It's a milestone we've successfully avoided for the last 1.5 years. Somehow she seems so young and so grown up at the same time. As much as the overprotective crazy territorial mother in me wants to have her all to myself, I'm more excited than sad seeing us reach this stage in her life. As much as I right now want to cry into my pillow about how time passes so quickly, how she's never going to be little tiny baby ever again, as much as having her kiss me goodbye without a second glance is painful, I'm so glad that we're here. I'm so excited about the individual she's going to become. I can't wait to see who my little girl grows up to be.

Had to Share: Baby C - 1st Day at Daycare

I felt overwhelmed the weekend before my son started preschool (he goes only 2 times a week, for 2 hours, so isn't really school, school)...but let me say, letting go, even for 4 hours a week, was REALLY TOUGH!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be amazed at how she'll develop with the different environment - it will give her a chance to truly develop her personality. Is it a daycare centre or a home care?
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, the first days are the hardest, but like others have said here she'll thrive in the new environment!
ReplyDeleteshe is so cute! it took the preschooler a few months to adjust to day care but now, two years later if you ask him how day care was he says, 'great' or even, 'fantastic'. she'll love it :)
