Moments From My Day
I don't remember if I've already mentioned this before, and even if I did it feels warranted to mention this again, once your kid starts extracurricular activities you can say goodbye to pretty much everything. My life right now revolves around Baby A, Miss C's JK/Saturday school/art/more art/ballet, and my Masters studies. That is it, boys and girls, there is virtually no time for anything else.
Today it is all about juggling the kids between hubby and myself. We are lucky that my parents help out whenever they can. Otherwise life would be even more crazy.
But the little corner of the dining room up above makes me happy. I rest my eyes on it and remember that outside kids, school, making food and cleaning up (oh, the neverending mess!!!), I love lots of other things.
I haven't shown you what the dining room looks like yet, but I've already moved some art around. With so much on the go I find visual clutter distracting and have this incessant need to clean and simplify.
Everyone's saying that he looks just like daddy. Ugg!!! What is up with that. I carry them, and birth them, stay up nights and breastfeed them, and the least they can do is look at least a little bit like me! Ha ha :) Miss C is a dead ringer for her dad too (btw). Well, Baby A here at least had the decency to inherit my eyelashes. Blush :)
And with that I'm off to kiss my kids senseless. Hope you're having a wonderful day!
