condo looks like, here is the living room tour! Things here are very simple. I really like how the Persian kilim works with the floor. It complements it without too much contrast. Just a layer to make things cozier. A gray rug might have worked much better, but this Persian kilim was $60 and is perfect for our busy and messy family. I've already thrown it in the wash a few times (ahem, cat, ahem) and it came out perfect.
I've had to put away all but two of our pillows. There's just too much going on on daily basis to fuss with pillows. On their own the pillows added too much visual clutter and had to go. As I said before, simple, clean, minimal is what keeps me happy.
One thing that must happen though, and very very soon, is curtains (HERE is my inspiration). I can't live without them much longer. I'm not sure how much they will add to that pesky visual clutter, but I've bought solid white fabric and hope it will add a layer and soften things up. Just need to get them made.
old house. These hold (you would not believe) our huge monitors from the house, other random hardware and tons of Miss C's toys. Things are a little tight in there, but considering they were empty in the old house, I don't mind actually using the storage we have :)
