Having, writing and keeping up with a diary has always been an unattainable dream of mine.
Back in the days of high school crushes and lazy summers, writing in a diary was the only way to stay sane. Today, making the time for a little one-on-one is heartbreakingly difficult.
My love affair with the world of blogs started innocently enough while I was (and currently am) on maternity leave with my baby (hopefully first of a few) Christina Grace. Being the amazingly wonderful child that she is, she loves to nap and does so consistently enough that I was able to spend some time online. Through the magazine Cookie (Condé Nast), which is no longer regretfully in publication, I was introduced to the parallel universe of blogs.
A few months into the love affair, and I feel that I have been doing all the taking and none of the giving. So.. without making things too complicated, Christmas Eve and all, here is my first post. Freshly created blog and an amazing outlet for me.
